There will be another winter weeding bee at Sydenham Botanic Park on Saturday 26th July from 1pm to 3pm.
The aim is to remove weeds manually and minimize the use of agrichemical sprays on the park. Anyone is welcome to come along and help. If possible, please bring gardening gloves, a hand trowel or fork and/or a rake – and be ready to pull weeds! While you’re at the park, try out the great new tables that have been installed. Thanks go out to Mackay Strathnaver Trust and Tauriko Sawmills, along with Funding Trust and Advisory Group members (particularly Maureen) for getting them installed.
